Stages

Since I was a kid, I used to see animalistic features in the people around me. I would imagine myself as some animal that I was interested in at the moment; if it was a shark book or video I was watching, I acted like so and bit everybody that came into my way; same thing with the lion or the tiger. Other times I pretended to be a monkey, or a bear, or an eagle and so on. Wether I was alone or with friends, I loved to imagine myself as other than a human being, sensing that it would be definitely possible to become my favourite animal magically.
As I said first, I also used to see people as animals... not in the sense that you are imagining now, but in the sense that people have features and attitudes that resemble those of some elements from the animal kingdom.
Now that I am conscious and a little out of my mind, I think that humans are more of a stage of evolution rather than a specie. Orthodox religious people, specially the christians, believe that humans are everything and that earth has been alive as long as humans have existed. I believe so but in a completely different way as they do. They imagine human beings have been like we see each other nowadays since the beginning, and I quote a wanker I saw in the Borat movie: "I do not descend from a goddamn monkey!" Sad news for you mate, not only we've been monkeys, but many other sorts of animals.
¿Do you see where I'm going with this?
Haven't you ever noticed that some people are more predatious than other and viceversa? Don't you have a friend that you've nicknamed because he/she looks like a bird, rat, monkey or something else? Yeah, we've been around earth since the beginning, but only today and in the recent past that we have this human form and this human skills.
Because you see, by reading this book written by Michael Crichton called "Next", I realized that there is this term spread throughout the bio-genetic world called Chimera. This term refers to people that have more than one DNA line in their bodies. These people may carry some sort of DNA in the tissue of a specific organ and another sort of DNA some place else within them.
Human beings are a natural conjunction of various organisms that have inhabited the earth since very long. There are predators and there are preys, but you can switch from being one or the other in any given moment. It depends on the animal that is operating in you at that moment.
So you see... humaness is only a stage of evolution. You might descend from a long long line of predators or a long long line of preys. You might have large hervibore features, combined with a lion instinct and reptile reasoning; or a killer tiger appearance, with a reindeer attitude and rodent customs. The first would have strong features, keen eyes and very little concience, as the second would be a hot, shy and jumpy person.
This is just a theory... an idea... don't take it too seriously, but its a good start to understand some shit... hehehehe
